Goldige Glitzerkarten

Heute habe ich zwei neue Karten für euch. Entstanden sind diese beiden direkt für die Altenew Challenge (February Challenge: From Places Abroad – Cyprus), die ich vergangenen Freitag Abend entdeckte.
Hier gab es ein Inspirationsfoto. Und da kamen sofort die Ideen, die ich auch dieses Wochenende noch umgesetzt habe, um an der Challenge teilnehmen zu können. Zum ersten Mal habe ich zwei (genau genommen sind es sogar drei ;-)) Karten an nur einem Wochenende geschafft *juhu*. Und mit dem Ergebnis bin ich sehr zufrieden :-).
Mit beiden Karten nehme ich außerdem an der „Simon Says Wednesday Challenge – Anything Goes“ teil.

Today I have two new cards for you, which I made just for the Altenew Challenge (February Challenge: From Places Abroad – Cyprus). I found this challenge this friday and when I saw the inspiration photo I immediately had the ideas for these cards. I made them during one weekend – that’s very quick for me – and I like them a lot!
With both cards I also participate at the „Simon Says Wednesday Challenge – Anything Goes“.

Leider kommen die tollen Farben der Karte auf dem Bild nicht ganz so rüber, wie sie wirklich sind. Da habe ich mit der Beleuchtung beim Knipsen wohl etwas übertrieben 😉

On the photos the colors of the cards look not as beautiful as they are in reality. I unfortunately overexposed the photos :-/.

Für die erste Karte habe ich zuerst auf blauen Cardstock den Holzhintergrund („Wood Pallet Background“) gestempelt. Dann zusammen mit goldenem Glitzerkarton auf einen Kartenrohling geklebt. Anschließend wurden die Blüten (und der Schmetterling) aus dem Stempelset „Wild Hibiscus“ auf Aquarellpapier gestempelt und gold embossed. Danach habe ich die Blüten mit der Schere ausgeschnitten und mittels 3D-Pads aufgeklebt (die überstehenden Blüten wurden abgeschnitten).

For the first card I used blue cardstock and the background stamp „Wood Pallet Background“. I stuck the blue cardstock and a small stripe of glittery gold colored paper to a cardbase. I stamped the blossoms from the stamp set „Wild Hibiscus“ onto watercolor paper and embossed them in gold. After that I cut out the blossoms and stuck them on the front of the paper with 3D-Pads

Der Schriftzug „Sending hugs and happy thoughts“ stammt aus dem Stempelset „Beautiful Day“ und wurde in silber embossed.

The sentiment „Sending hugs and happy thoughts“ comes from the stamp set „Beautiful Day“ and I embossed it in silver.

Alle Stempel stammen von Altenew. All stamps are from Altenew.

Für die zweite Karte habe ich ein wenig helleres blaues Papier verwendet, darauf die Blüten aus „Wild Hibiscus“ gestempelt und gold embossed.

For the second card I used the same stamp set „Wild Hibiscus“, I stamped on blue paper und embossed in gold.

Dieselben Stempel habe ich zusätzlich auf Aquarellpapier gestempelt, gold embossed, mit „Kuretake Gansai Tambi“*-Aquarellfarben blau ausgemalt und schließlich mit der Schere ausgeschnitten. Auf dem blauen Papier habe ich mit einem dunkelblauen „Distress Mini Pad“-Stempelkissen die Ränder farbig gewischt – für mehr Kontrast. Der Schriftzug „Happy Birthday“ stammt aus meinem neuen Stempelset „Claire’s ABCs“ von Lawn Fawn – das war etwas kniffliger ;-). Schließlich wurde der Schriftzug mit meinem neuen Embossingpulver „Black sparkle“ von Ranger embossed.

The blossoms were also stamped on watercolor paper and colored them blue with „Kuretake Gansai Tambi“* watercolors. Then I cut them out and stuck them on a gold frame which I cut out of glittery gold colored paper. The sides of the card I wiped with a darker blue Distress Mini Ink Pad from Ranger for more contrast. The sentiment „Happy Birthday“ comes from my new stamp set „Claire’s ABCs“ from Lawn Fawn – that was a little bit difficult ;-). After stamping the separate letters I embossed them with my new embossing powder „Black sparkle“ from Ranger.

Der Rahmen wurde aus goldfarbenem Glitzerkarton (gefunden bei McPaper) ausgeschnitten und mit 3D-Pads aufgeklebt. Die Blüten habe ich dann direkt auf den Rahmen geklebt. Das Ganze erhielt noch einen Kartenrohling – voilà :-).
